Donna Weiss
Vice Chair Community Partner Donna Weiss serves on the Communities In Schools national board, sitting on its Executive and Governance Committees, and chairing its Network Committee. Donna was the founding board chair of CIS of LA and rejoined the board in 2015. From 2001 to 2008, Ms. Weiss was a managing director with Midstream Partners, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in oil and gas transactions. Prior to that, she was an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, specializing in international project finance. In addition to her work with Communities in Schools, Ms. Weiss is actively involved at Brown University and is currently a member of the Brown Annual Fund Leadership Council and the Brown Womens’ Leadership Council. Ms. Weiss earned her JD degree from Harvard Law School and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Brown. She and her husband Jason have two children. |
