Partnership for LA Schools
Virginia Lee is the Senior Director of Community Engagement & Partnerships at Partnership for Los Angeles Schools.
I am honored to serve as the Partnership's Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships. My life’s work is to support families and communities to be healthy and thrive, and I have worked with non-profits, government, health organizations, and foundations on public health and social justice issues including violence, food access, active living, HIV/AIDS, and tobacco use. Prior to joining the Partnership, I was the Senior Manager for Urban Peace Institute and Advancement Project. I also convened the Watts Regional School Safety Collaborative with the goal of promoting safe passage for students and implemented the Watts Latino Leadership Institute which focused on increasing civic engagement among immigrant residents. Quality education is an issue close to my heart, and I am excited to serve and support school communities in reaching their fullest potential.
