All In For
Kids

Anchor 1

Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

What we do

Communities in Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA) is an affiliate of Communities In Schools (CIS), the largest dropout (pushout) prevention nonprofit in the United States.

We use our evidenced-based model in schools across the Los Angeles Unified School District that connects students with caring adults and community resources designed to help them succeed.

In partnership with teachers, principals, school staff, and local organizations, we ensure that students – regardless of external challenges – are provided the tools to graduate high school and establish a path to real world success – college, skills and workforce training.

Impact

99%

of CISLA seniors graduated from high school.

13,000 +

students impacted through the CISLA model that provides Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and academic support, parent and family engagement, extended learning, and college and career readiness opportunities.

1,200 +

students across 15 schools received one-on-one case management to help improve their Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), attendance, and academic outcomes.

Ways to Support

It’s through the collective efforts of our donors and volunteers that we can continue to reach new heights and bring hope and opportunity to our students.

Your impact is felt in every success story, every empowered student, and every brighter future we help create.

Help students reach their full potential by supporting our volunteer efforts!
