B. Tanille Carter

The Entertainment Community Fund

Tanille Carter is a seasoned nonprofit leader and strategist with a career spanning more than 25 years, rooted in a deep commitment to equity, access, and opportunity. A Los Angeles native, she currently serves as Director of Advancement, Western Region at the Entertainment Community Fund, where she leads fundraising and donor engagement efforts to support professionals across the entertainment industry, with a focus on helping them build stable, sustainable lives—both during periods of work and in times of uncertainty.
Tanille first became familiar with Communities In Schools in the early 2000s while serving as the marketing lead for Hands On Atlanta’s school-based programs. That early experience shaped her enduring belief in the power of integrated student support and community partnerships to transform educational outcomes.
She brings to the Communities In Schools board a wealth of experience in building mission-driven partnerships and cultivating philanthropic support from individuals, institutions, and industry leaders. Known for her ability to connect people to purpose, Tanille is passionate about expanding access to critical services for students and families—especially in underserved communities.
A champion for creative professionals and a believer in the power of education, Tanille is proud to support Communities In Schools in ensuring that every student has a path to success, in school and in life.
