Elizabeth Aguilar
Donor and Corporate Partnerships Director
Liz Aguilar, Donor and Corporate Partnerships Director, a role she has held since April, 2025. She first joined the organization in January 2022, bringing over 8 years of experience in managing and energizing volunteers in nonprofit settings. In her current role, she leads donor relations and corporate partnerships, fostering meaningful connections that advance CISLA’s mission.
Prior to joining CISLA, she led the Volunteer Program at the Museum of Latin American Art from 2018-2021. At MOLAA Elizabeth managed the docent guild program, Internship department, general volunteer activities, and teen programs. Working with community partners, and local schools and universities, Ms. Aguilar provided meaningful learning opportunities for BIPOCs by establishing mentorship programs targeted for high school and college interns interested in careers in the museum field. She has also served as the Volunteer Coordinator and Special Events Assistant at Richstone Family Center from 2015-2018, where she focused on creating impactful opportunities for children and families with the support of volunteers, and corporate and local partnerships. In addition, Ms. Aguilar spearheaded the annual holiday programs, which aimed to serve the needs of families experiencing financial and food insecurity.
Liz holds a BS in Public Administration and MPA in Nonprofit Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She has a passion for public service and has spent much of her career working with nonprofits and grassroots organizations in underrepresented communities to help meet their mission and provide services throughout diverse communities. Liz enjoys reading, hiking, dancing, and yoga in her spare time. She currently lives in Long Beach with her two cats, Chilaquil and Conchita.
