Nikki Hymes

Nikki Hymes joined CISLA March 2025. Nikki has been dedicated to providing for under privileged youth in the south Los Angeles area, giving them a safe space to communicate their needs.

Nikki studied the art of expressions your emotions through play at CSU Long Beach. While studying at CSU Long Beach Nikki had the opportunity to work for Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles where she provided summer youth employment to young teens. While working for Housing Authority this sparked an interest in combining providing basic needs and also still having fun! After many years of learning from Housing Authority Nikki moved on to Los Angeles Unified school district where she was able to provide basic need services to families and still interact with students in a fun manner while still maintaining an understanding of socio-emotional learning.
