Sonya Tucker

Sonya Tucker joined CISLA in December 2021 as People Operations Manager, bringing more than 15 years of human resources experience and over two decades in professional services. In her role, she supports staff across the organization with a focus on employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development.

Before joining CISLA, Sonya built her career in the legal sector, where she advanced into human resources leadership and discovered her passion for creating supportive, people-centered workplaces. She is especially proud of mentoring colleagues and helping teams grow and thrive.

Her role at CISLA carries personal meaning, as she is committed to giving back to the community where she was raised. She looks forward to continuing to contribute to CISLA’s mission and supporting the staff who bring it to life each day.
Sonya holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from the University of La Verne. Outside of work, she enjoys connecting with friends and family, exploring social media, and cheering on the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Dodgers.
