About the Achieve In Life Gala

The Achieve In Life Gala is CISLA’s annual event that successfully raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring the mission of Communities In Schools of Los Angeles to life. This distinguished gala serves as a unifying platform, bringing together philanthropists, political and education leaders, and businesspeople who wholeheartedly support the organization's impactful initiatives.

Communities In Schools of Los Angeles has significantly influenced the lives of hundreds of thousands of underprivileged students across the city. The organization focuses on providing basic needs support, fostering Social-emotional Learning, and promoting academic achievement among students facing various challenges.

At the gala, the spotlight is not only on CISLA's remarkable work but also on honoring leaders who embody the organization's mission in the realms of community, business, education, and philanthropy. Past honorees, such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Andrew and Jaime Schwartzberg, Mary-Jane Wagle, Donna Weiss, Ashlee Margolis, California Senator Sydney Kamlager, and Kevin Huvane, exemplify the commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Join us at the Achieve In Life Gala to celebrate the collective efforts that have transformed the educational landscape for underprivileged students in Los Angeles and to honor those who continue to champion the cause.
